History & Background

Founded in 1970 by Hafeez Malik in Pakistan, Makhdooms Packaging & Printing began its journey with a significant order from the renowned Bata Pakistan. Fast forward to 1985, Asher Hafeez, the current CEO, joined the company after earning his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and Printing Technology. This marked the turning point, as Makhdooms underwent a strategic restructuring, evolving into a full-scale design and printing business.

Rapidly establishing itself as a cost-effective service provider with an unwavering commitment to quality, Makhdooms climbed the ranks, becoming one of the top 20 commercial printers by 1990. The clientele expanded to include Government Departments, Educational Institutions, Finance, Textiles, Telecommunications, and major national and multinational corporations such as Nestle, ICI, Berger, Telenor, Ufone, Nishat group, Kohinoor Textile, Pakistan Armed Forces, RBS, Bank of Punjab and UNICEF.

In 2005, Makhdooms International (Pvt) Ltd, the first Machine Made Envelope Company in Pakistan was incorporated to meet the growing demand (Automated Mailing) for envelopes from Government, Banks and telecom companies.
